WhatsApp, the platform owned by Meta, will roll out updates that will cause the application to stop working on three still-used iPhones.
WhatsApp will no longer support several iPhone models as part of its software upgrade. From May 5, only IOS versions 15.1 and newer will be able to use the App. Users on older iPhones won’t be able to send or receive any messages.
iPhone 5s, 6 and 6 Plus will stop sending and receiving WhatsApp messages.
It is worth pointing out that these iPhone models stopped receiving major Apple updates a while ago.
To continue using your preferred messaging application, you should upgrade your phone to a newer version of iPhone.
